Banshee 29’r decked in Straitline makes 29’rs cool!

I am actually liking what I see here. Keith is a true engineer with a masters degree and I know he isn’t one to whip out gimmicks and this bike looks pretty fun.

Mike Montgomery has actually already thrown it for a flip!

The Sicklines Crew gave an overview with Keith on the Mike showing you what's in store for this new 29’r revolution.

Straitlines New Pedal is coming…

So we have been waiting to show off our new Wharehouse until the Robotic arm is set up for cool factor but we have grown and new toys are all around.

Dennis just finished programming the Fanuc Robot to load and unload our new AMP pedal into our new Okuma mill.  These two love birds are going to be making 180 pairs of finished pedals all on its own, programs are not written yet but we are shooting for 2 day cycles.

They will work 24/7 while we sleep at night and twirl in our office chairs in the daytime. God Bless modern Robotics.

The Amp Pedal stands for its intended use All Mountain – P for pedal, clever marketing yes but the design has been catered for the elite DH racing crowd as well. It will be identical to our Platform pedal currently offered using Igus bushings, double redundancy retention system and easy as pie to maintain and work on.

The size and weight will be smaller and lighter than our Original free ride pedal and those who count grams will choose this pedal and the Racers as well for tighter cornering.

Here is Our Mori NH400 loading a pallet of second opt pedals and a final opt on Jeff Lenosky’s old JLO pedals in need of some final thread tapping for the traction pins.

Eric Lawrenuk ‘s bike build

Eric Lawrenuk approached us to ride pedals but i just sent them all dissembled as his first task as one of our new riders. They are so easy to put together and dissemble you are retarded if you cannot find a creative way with no tools. Watch Eric build his custom Cove up that was painted by Stacey at Painthouse!

“This weekend was the final round of the innerleithen winter series and a race I was really looking forward to after round one was so good.

On the Saturday there was quite heavy rain so I held off till about ten o’clock but the sky didn’t look like it was going to clear up so I headed up for a run to see what it was like.

The track was real good and it was nice to have a fresh lip on the quarry gap, the bottom section was quite pedally in bits so good job I’ve been working hard over the winter.

I got 6 runs in the end but I wasn’t feeling to clever on the track so I walked up after practice to check some bits out and find some fresh lines for Sundays practice.

Sunday morning I got two mega runs in, I was feeling real good on the track and I was happy to find my flow ready for the 1st run.

Out the start my run was shady as I messed up the 1st corner but after that I got some pedals in down the 1st straight and set about nailing my lines and my run was going pretty good just a few little mistakes and then on the main pedally bit I sat down! I and thought to myself what are you doing! I’m blaming the wtb devo seat it’s just so comfy I feel like I’m on the yz! Anyway I got my self into gear and got cranking before the next section which was real sick loads of turns with some little inside lines then into the finish it was pretty flat out huck thing before getting on the gas to the line. After my 1st run I was surprised to go into the lead, things were real tight which is always good for racing but I knew I could build on it for 2nd runs.”
